Intro to Stained Glass Art

Copper Foil Decorative Plant Stake

Participants will design and make an original decorative stained glass plant stake using the copper foil technique. All equipment and materials are provided and class size is intentionally small for a more personalized learning experience.

Teacher Kay Bowman has been creating stained glass art for over 40 years.  She has taught workshops, been commissioned to make stained glass pieces of every size, including a window with over a thousand pieces; and she has sold her art in boutiques and galleries.

Participants should wear comfortable clothing and closed toe shoes.  Personal protective gear will be provided. Participants should expect to be standing and working most of the workshop as well as having fun!

Attendees may sign up for the workshop alone or for the workshop and a 1 month makerspace membership.  With a membership attendees are able to access all the tools and equipment for starting their stained glass journey for 30 days.
