CXLD Will be Rescheduled to April: Introduction to Masonry: Materials & Techniques

Students receive instruction about the masonry trade, its origins and practice of the craft. Suggested tools and equipment lists for specific types of projects will be shared. The class will also include some hands-on learning to build small structures inside. 

Students receive instruction from 3rd generation mason, Marc Anderson, whose work can be seen all over the area including the Storybook Convenience Store, Don Pancho's Mexican restaurant and Forest Park Shopping Plaza, courtyard and stage area.

All materials and tools will be provided.

SHAK Membership Discount: Students who become a member of SHAK Makerspace during class sessions receive a $10 discount on the first month's dues, which are regularly only $35/month for an individual and $50/month for a household.  Ask your SHAK event host or instructor.

Participant Cancellations: Participants may cancel class reservations up to 48 hours prior to the event start time and receive a refund.  Refunds will not be given if cancellation is made within 48 hours of class start time.

If minimum class size is not reached class will be cancelled, participants will be notified and class admission fees will be refunded.
