Kokomo High School International Student Sign Making Workshop
Students will make a directional sign indicating distance to their home country to give as a holiday gift to their host family. Stations will be set up in the woodworking area and in the front room for placing and painting using a pre-ordered stencil, or for free-hand painting to complete the signs. There are expected to be 25 students in attendance.
About 7 SHAK Members are needed to host different stations including several wood cutting stations, hand sanding and/or orbital sanding stations, stencil placement & painting stations and snack area. The group is planning to bring snacks to be set up in SHAK's kitchen area.
Hosts should plan to arrive by 1pm and depart between 4:30 and 5pm after clean up.
