Goddess Doll Workshop

Participants will make these sassy goddess dolls utilizing papier-mâché building techniques and multi-media decorative techniques.  Local artist, Rebecca Rayls, will share the steps necessary to turn wads of paper, tape, glue, paint, fabric and baubles into these little works of art.  The workshop includes 4 evening sessions covering steps and expert tips for success and optional bonus studio open hours to embellish the art pieces.  Participants will be successful in making their project attending 2 or more evenings. No previous experience necessary.  

Plan to wear clothing that can get dirty.  

The workshop is comprised of 4 evening 2 hour sessions with 4 additional evenings of open studio creating time included.  The workshop is free to SHAK Makerspace members and is only $35 for non-members.  If you are interested in a SHAK Membership which gives you access to this workshop for free as well as access to hundreds of maker tools for only $35/month please email info@shakmakerspace.org to set up a tour.
