Glossy Paper Beads Workshop

Avid crafter and retired teacher, Nancy Allman, will walk us through creating paper art beads that can be used as decorative accents on larger projects and as jewelry of all types and sizes.  

The group will transform rolled up catalog pages and designer scrapbooking paper into colorful, glossy beads, through an embossing process!  Catalog pages, glue, thread, embossing pads and small heat guns will be used to turn trash into treasure!  Some beads can be made to look like Pandora necklace beads!

Nancy was inspired to check out SHAK Makerspace by her adult grandson who makes some great woodworking pieces at his local makerspace in California!

This class had a $1 fee if participant is not a SHAK Makerspace member yet.  Participants may pay at check in.
