Zen Garden Class
Dreaming about a relaxing way to waste the last few minutes at work? This DIY Zen Garden class will teach you how to cut and assemble a basic box, and a tiny rake to manicure your "garden". You will also learn the ins and outs of cutting and sanding to create a high quaility piece of artwork . In practicing these skills, students will take home a custom DIY Zen Garden. Students should know the basics of measurement, and have proficiency with a protractor and angle measurements. ( Note: these are all skills which will be taught in the Intro to Woodshop classes).
Sunday, September 8th and 15th 1pm-4pm
Space is limited please register today.
Class will be taught by Braxton Utsler. A classically trained and certified carpenter, Braxton has been a part of the construction industry for more than 10 years. He has building experience ranging from small outdoor sheds, to large hospitals and high-rises. His favorite projects always involve fine woodworking and detail skills. His free time is either spent helping on the farm, or teaching others some of the knowledge he has acquired.
